Fascinating to see this being publishing in the business press. It’s actually an important question and the obvious answer is that in most places the recent hikes were not enough. … But depending on legislation and ballot measures (which generally require buy in from at least a segment of elites and employers) is limited. Hopefully these efforts are first steps towards building the actual capacity of workers to use their power of striking and shutting down production; that’s the real way to make gains that been proven historically.
